Packaging refers to the process of design, evaluation, and production of packages. Package labelling is any written, electronic, or graphic communication on the packaging, or on a separate, but associated label.
Packaging design and development generally requires thorough market research and analysis including targeted focus groups. Colour, size and material all play an important role in the branding and design of the packaging especially for Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). Successful packaging must protect, preserve, inform, and ultimately sell more products.
