Another busy month at WhiteRhino, with a number of new inquiries, proposals, pitches, strategic creative discussions and production development for both print and web. In recent months we saw the Smart Water Fund launch a new website designed and developed by WhiteRhino utilising a customised website CMS solution. This month WhiteRhino and Melbourne’s three water retailers launched a new website for the Toilet Replacement Program in support of the Victorian Government Target 155 Save Our Water initiative. For the first time South East Water, City West Water and Yarra Valley Water joined together to launch a unified website specifically designed for customers to upgrade their single flush toilets to dual flush with savings of up to 35% off the RRP, not to mention the 35,000 litres per year savings on water usage.
It’s sometimes nice to step away from the studio for a little while and find out what else going on in the industry. In Semi-Permanent’s first Melbourne foray, the audience was offered a keen insight into what creatives the world over are doing.
I attended the Friday session, where speakers varied from local design studios and photographers, to international artists and directors. Despite the differing disciplines, each speaker was united in their love for their craft. It was inspiring to see industry heavyweights and relative newcomers alike exuding such amazing passion.
Mum uncovered a childhood masterpiece which had been carefully stored away under the house for some 25 years!. My original TYCO Nite-Glow slot car set complete with original brochureware below.
