This is the extremely temperamental yet beautiful ‘Leeroy’. An amazing animal who became our ‘hero talent’ for our new stationery launch material and website imagery. Leeroy is nearly 50 years old and lives alone and peacefully in the back paddocks on the Werribee open plain zoo, out of public view. He’s now a little too grumpy to co-exist with the other rhino social groups, yet his size makes him a truly spectacular specimen he is – all 2 1/2 tonnes of him.
